The Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is a fellowship of Baptist Christians and churches who share a passion for the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and a commitment to Baptist principles of faith and practice. Its purpose is to serve Christians and churches as they discover and fulfill their God-given mission. The CBF supports 163 missionaries around the world, who work primarily with un-evangelized and marginalized people groups.

In January, 2007, representatives from four congregations incorporated CBF Midwest as a new geographic region for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. The newly founded region extends through Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Our purpose is to continue and expand the mission work of CBF in these five states, and to become the presence of Christ to those in need.

Some of the goals of CBF Midwest are to strengthen existing churches, plant new churches within the region, provide more ministry and missions opportunities by combining resources.  We also want to develop pastors and leaders who feel equipped  to be the presence of Christ in their community or on the mission field.
